I'm a UI / UX designer based in London, UK, originally from Istanbul, Turkey. I like to design user centric mobile apps that improve everyday life!
I have always been interested in design & technology. As a child, I spent hours on the computer creating presentations, videos, and editing photos. I became the go-to "fix-it" person in my family, relishing in helping others with tech issues, even changing my grandparents' phone wallpapers as a young child – a major feat back then!
University was when I found my calling in Visual Communication Design. While I enjoyed every aspect of the program, I found the most satisfaction in creating designs that helped improve everyday life. This led me to pursue product design as my career path. Despite my love for graphic design, crafting user-centric products felt more tangible. As a UI/UX designer for the past five years, I've poured my heart and soul into my work, enjoying the journey every step of the way.

January 2023 - Current
I led the product design strategy for a varied portfolio of investment apps, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure a unified and top-tier user experience across all platforms. Managing releases and updates for numerous apps demanded an effective management and design system under my guidance. During this period, we successfully launched two new apps.
Senior Product Designer
Invstr, London
June 2021- January 2023
I led the design strategy for Invstr, supervising the entire design process and providing guidance to junior designers. This marked my debut as a manager, during which the design team and I spearheaded significant updates within the Invstr App. Key projects involved revamping our subscription plan and onboarding flow to enhance the user experience. Over my tenure as the senior designer, we rolled out four major app updates, alongside numerous minor ones, resulting in an 8% boost in user engagement and a 15% improvement in onboarding.
Junior Product Designer
Invstr, London
January 2020 - June 2021
This was my initial position as a UI/UX designer. I worked alongside cross-functional teams to conceptualize and design user interfaces for essential features of the investment app, enhancing the overall user experience. I supported the design team in prototyping, conducting user testing, and implementing design enhancements using Figma, Zeplin, Protopie, and Sketch.
Graphic Designer

2019-2020
I worked as a graphic designer for Oyuna, a luxury cashmere brand based in London. My responsibilities included assisting the marketing manager with website design, creating images for social media, designing posters and flyers for events, and preparing look-books for the upcoming season. This opportunity proved invaluable, affording me exposure to diverse aspects of the design field.
